Overview
A Dimwitted yet curious creature gets stuck in a nutshell and does everything in his power to break out. Because of his nutshell, he eventually transforms into a giant tree, finding his place in the world. The film has deep themes about self discovery and acceptance, where one can find their place in the world despite facing challenges and imperfections.
Please check out some of the work I did for this shot. Here Me is about to jump off a cliff in an attempt to crack his shell and break free! The scene one of the brightest outdoor areas and so me really needs to feel like the sun is beaming down on him
Breakdown
Sense This shot is outside I used a blue shadow on the bottom of me to make him appear more white and bleached out before jumping off the cliff because as soon as we are back in the forest all that vibrancy will be bouncing back! I also removed the eyes and made them emissive since they already should be fully white in this scene
